Our Victuallers Special Edition ‘Snapes Point Sloe Gin’ is back, just in time for the festive season. Only a few bottles remaining!
Distilled in Salcombe at the water’s edge, this meticulously crafted sloe gin is inspired by autumnal walks along the clifftops as the days draw in. Only the finest botanicals sourced from around the globe are used, paired with foraged sloe berries and judicious use of sugar, to create a wonderfully smooth and rich liqueur that pays tribute to the copper-hulled Salcombe Fruiters and the voyages of discovery in pursuit of the finest fruits.
This Sloe Gin is wonderfully smooth and rich. On the nose, it has notes of ripe plums, almonds, and frangipane, followed by blackcurrants, cherries, and sweet spices. The finish is a hint of pepper and earthy tartness.
Best served straight from the freezer over ice, in a ‘Sloe Gin & Tonic’ or in a Bramble for the perfect seasonal cocktail.

Inspired by the famous Salcombe Fruiters, which were locally built Schooner sailing vessels that carried their highly perishable cargo of fresh fruits and spices from around the world to England’s ports. The Victuallers Special Edition spirits reawaken a bygone era of adventure and trade.
Victuallers were merchant sailing vessels that carried fresh provisions to the fleet, accompanying them on long voyages around the world, to maintain the health of the sailors serving their country. Each of these special edition spirits have been lovingly handcrafted at our waterside distillery in Salcombe by our expert distillers, using only the finest ingredients sourced from around the world, carrying forth this unique spirit of adventure.
