Named after the iconic ‘Sainte Marie’ lighthouse which marks the Southern entrance to the Old Port of Marseille, from where 19th century Salcombe Fruit Schooners would load citrus fruits and herbs bound for England’s ports, ‘Rosé Sainte Marie’ is a multi-award winning dry rosé gin inspired by the Mediterranean.

This elegant and delicate ‘pink’ gin has fragrant notes of fresh lemon peel and Provence herbs with a natural sweetness of red fruit and a distinct perfume of white flowers and orange blossom.

Available in 70cl, 50cl and 12 x 5cl. 41.4% ABV.

Rosé Sainte Marie

Inspired by the aromas, flavours and lifestyle of the South of France, ‘Rosé Sainte Marie’ is a celebration of adventure, colour, freshness and joy; capturing the vibrant spirit of the Mediterranean coast.

‘Rosé Sainte Marie’ takes its name from the iconic ‘Sainte Marie’ lighthouse which marks the Southern entrance to the Old Port of Marseille, from where 19th century Salcombe Fruit Schooners would load citrus fruits and herbs bound for England’s ports.

A delicate, fresh and truly exquisite gin, ‘Rosé Sainte Marie’ is reminiscent of a balmy summer’s evening sat outside on the terrace, watching the world go by.

BOTANICALS
Inspired by the Mediterranean

‘Rosé Sainte Marie’ is distilled and crafted using 14 of the finest botanicals from around the globe, many of which have been hand sourced from the Mediterranean to create a dry rosé gin that is subtly sweet, effortlessly sophisticated and incredibly smooth. Providing structure in the background, Macedonian junipers berries are partnered with a natural but not overpowering sweetness from strawberries and angelica.

Rose petals and lavender are carefully placed in infusion baskets to collect the subtle flavours and aromas as the hot vapour passes through, without breaking down the botanicals. After distillation, we gently steep the gin in fresh strawberries which imparts a natural blush hue and a sweet aroma to the liquid.

Rosé & Tonic
ingredients
  • 50ml Salcombe Gin ‘Rosé Sainte Marie’
  • 150ml Premium Indian tonic water
  • A slice of strawberry or twist of lemon peel
method
  • Fill a large gin glass with ice.
  • Add 50ml of Salcombe Gin ‘Rosé Sainte Marie’.
  • Top with 150ml of premium Indian tonic water.
  • Garnish with either a slice of strawberry to accentuate the bouquet of red fruit or a twist of fresh lemon peel to bring the fragrant citrus to the fore. 
  • Gently stir and serve.

ingredients
  • 25ml Salcombe Gin ‘Rosé Sainte Marie’
  • 15ml Knightor Rosé Vermouth
  • 15ml Limoncello
  • Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic water
  • Orange bitters
  • Orange
  • Sprig of thyme
method
  • Fill a large wine glass with ice.
  • Add the gin, rosé vermouth and limoncello.
  • Add the Mediterranean tonic water and a splash of orange bitters and stir gently.
  • Garnish with a slice of orange and a sprig of thyme.
Rosé Spritz
ingredients
  • 35ml Salcombe Gin ‘Rosé Sainte Marie’
  • 15ml Aperol
  • Slice of orange
  • Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic water 
method
  • Simply fill a large wine glass with ice.
  • Add the Salcombe Gin ‘Rosé Sainte Marie’ and Aperol.
  • Top up with Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic water.
  • Stir gently and garnish with a slice of orange.
